ABOUT ME

Currently, I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my beautiful wife, Rebeccah, my daughter, Haley and our five furry children. I enjoy yoga, the outdoors making music and spending time with my family.

It was shortly after receiving my BA in Creative Writing at the University of Arizona in Tucson that I began editing poetry. I worked for the Near Eastern Studies Department translating Iranian poetry and prose into English. Since then I have been editing content for a wide variety of things from technical manuals to webpages. My own writing has been featured in In Our Own Words Vol. 8 compiled by Marlow Peerse Weaver, Love and Romance Poetry Anthology compiled by Deborah Simspon and multiple volumes of the Penn State literary journal, Problem Child.

I believe in self sufficiency and sustainability, so I built this garden in our backyard. We have had success growing peppers, cilantro, tomatoes, swiss chard, parsley and lettuce.
